Working days: Mon-Fri, 08:30 - 17:30 hrs.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and manage Global Quality and Food Safety standards (QMP, HACCP, FMMS, FSSC22000, GMP, IPM Dry Petcare Standard) to meet statutory and regulatory food safety requirements.
- Lead internal audit programs, CAPA processes, and third-party certification audits, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) Manager and QMP Manager on product-related incident investigations and provide recommendations on product disposition.
- Oversee Q&FS change management processes for new products, equipment, or processes, ensuring safe implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement projects related to Q&FS, analyzing trends and using statistical data to enhance product quality and conformance.
- Conduct gap assessments and implement necessary improvements in alignment with regulatory requirements and Food Defense Plans.
- Partner with supply, R&D, and key stakeholders to implement process changes, ensure product conformance, and maintain effective Q&FS programs.
- Lead site-wide Quality Culture initiatives, engaging shop-floor employees and aligning with regional/global strategies.
- Provide technical expertise in food safety, auditing, traceability, and statistical process control.
- Lead risk analysis, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Build a network of cross-functional partners to align quality objectives with business goals and support operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Quality & Food Safety management, compliance, and audits.
- Strong knowledge of global quality standards, regulatory requirements, and food safety programs.
- Experience in incident management, risk assessment, and statistical process control.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and implement change effectively.
