Purchasing Manager

Key responsibilities:
- Develop procurement plans for materials and equipment in collaboration with various departments or specific project requirements.
- Analyze supplier information received by the procurement department, ensuring the selection of optimal offers and conditions for each procurement item.
- Monitor procurement results, assess supplier performance, and address any issues that arise during the procurement process. Summarize outcomes and propose improvement strategies.
- Conduct inspections for both project materials and waste management.
- Control the submission of quotations from three suppliers, present them to the department manager for consideration, and subsequently submit to executives.
- Monitor changes in product quality, pricing, and material availability.
- Check purchase orders for submission to the approving authority and review work orders before presenting them to management for approval.
- Review and compare price quotes and conditions before submission to management, including the selection of contractors (external service providers).
- Plan negotiation processes with subcontractors in coordination with the construction project department and execute according to the established plan.
- Analyze information from subcontractors received by the procurement staff, ensuring the selection of the best offers or conditions for each procurement item.
- Oversee contract matters, payment terms, and final payments until the completion of the procurement process.
Qualification:
- Minimum of 7 years of procurement experience in construction contract management.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in any relevant field.
- Proficient in managing procurement processes for materials, equipment, and construction contracts.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of effective team management.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP programs is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented, trustworthy, positive attitude, a sense of responsibility in work, and resilience under pressure.
- Good communication skills in English and Thai, both written and spoken.
